Paladins Cross-Play Welcomes PlayStation 4!
-
So I guess Sony finally allowed this to happen.
-
Finally, I have no idea how you guys convinced Sony to allow it, but you rock!
This is a huge step for Paladins and Hi-Rez, thank for letting this happen.
-
@mjacobs92 money movers mountains my friend
-
@OriginalEquinox Well, if it's that simple why not other gaming companies do the same instead of blaming/begging Sony to do it.
And now we have a F2P game making it happen lol
-
Sony realizes that Cross-play is basically going to be the Next Gen trend. A lot of games have been releasing with Cross-play and or incorporating Cross-play due to how high of a demand it is. I don't think money is the full issue, but their way to stay relevent in an ever changing and ever evolving gaming community, as a whole.
-
@Rauyne Well said!
-
They Do this for the money at the end
-
@a_a
It does ultimately come down to money, as it does with Microsoft, Steam, Epic Games and any Game Developer that has Cross-Play in mind. There is more money to be made in Cross-Play than in System Exclusive, especially at the early stages of Cross-Play since the only way now is forward.

I am glad this is finally a thing, I ended up loaning my younger brother my PS4 so we can play together. Hopefully there is word on the cross-progression and cross-commerce soon!
-
I have like 100+ skins and 3k crystals in my PS4 account. Now I move to PC because of the better balance there. Is it possible to move my skin and items to PC platform like XBOX and switch?
-
@UkobachPeng Yes, You can first create a hi-rez account, then link it with your ps4 account (I don't know did hi rez support this on ps4 or not)
Edit: and yep we necro'd........

@UkobachPeng "Currently, we will not support cross-progression (shared achievement & trophy progress) and cross-commerce (shared pool of purchased items across platforms). We are working with our partners at Sony on a solution for this. We will update the community as soon as we have more information on cross-progression and cross-commerce."
