New Player - which healer should I play?
-
Which healer is newbie friendly but also does decent healing? Videos on youtube are 6+ months old and I’m worried they have outdated info.
I’m coming from Overwatch so I’m not a complete newbie to FPS/MOBA type games.

Jenos can heal multiple allies through walls but with a low output.
Grover can passively heal anyone near him while putting out a decent amount of heals with his ult.
Seris can heal everyone in her LOS as long as they're grouped together.
There are other more fun healers but you should get used to the game a bit more before trying them, or play bot matches but those are boring.

I would say the absolute best bet for a new player would be Jenos by and far, though I think Grover and Seris are also both quite accessible for new players, at least compared to other supports.

The hardest ones atm are maldamba, ying and grover because of mechanics or positioning just pick those when you are more experienced. Also pip and grohk are not in a good place as support (they are decent as damage dealers though).
Seris and jenos are the best champs for a starter

who are your mains in OW?

IMO, Seris is probably the easiest and the most forgiving with positioning mistakes.
Here are some recent youtube matches - no tips, just recorded matches.

There are IO, Seris, Jenos and Furia matches there. Maybe it can help you decide.

I disagree with Grover really being difficult with how he plays now, but this pretty much.

Jenos movability is less dificult than vine, therefor Jenos is somewhat easier than Grover, also Grover needs better positioning for effective healing. But Grover is still easy to play.
