Barik does damage, but he has lackluster sustain in my opinion. I'd rather they balance him similar to Inara where he can rack up damage over time (Inara can do a bunch of damage to people if you let her), but he can't do like over 1,000 dps.

First game as Drogoz after a week long break from this game. I still sort of have it I guess.
Ranked game as Lian with my duo on Terminus and- Whoops! I'm supposed to be an e-girl that gets carried by my duo.

His sustain is honestly better than people think it is. He does have issues with burst sustain that Inara doesn't have, sure, but if you aren't getting bursted down his sustain problems are way overhyped. Most people seem to just play him as if they've never played him before... Just walking up to point, putting a turret up and instantly dying... Wasting his already mediocre at best ult on absolutely nothing... It's so cringe to watch most people play him, it really is.
He and Inara imho are on the same level, Inara just having sustain and brainless gameplay instead of damage output and mobility while barik has people playing him like they lost their brain somewhere along the way.

@Dusklicious Inara does quite a bit of damage. I think Barik has self heals to make up for the fact that he doesn't have a lot of dr. Inara has dr, but she's dependent on a support with a brain to do well. She does less damage because she has less dps, but I've seen Inara players get good damage. It's the fact that she's alive for so long. I'd rather see Barik worked around with that in mind. Less damage but more self healing.

This game was a loss, but it was still fun. Playing Evie also helps me counter Evie. I was surprised at how well I was tracking Evie in one of my games as Furia.

Hmm... I don't see Inaras ever doing over 100k, yet that's far from abnormal for Barik/Raum/even Ash. Still better than Khan/Torvald definitely, but her damage really isn't very high for a tank. She's probably on par with Atlas or Fern for damage. Definitely nowhere close to Barik... I don't see myself ever getting 180k damage with Inara, yet I've gotten it a few times playing Barik.

Here is an Inara (not me) doing over 100k (18 min) in casual siege. I've done well over that myself when I played her in ranked. It's not the norm though.

Most of my Inara games are either really short, or give me no opportunity to deal actual damage. But I'd say it's very unlikely if at all really plausible to deal 100k with Inara in less than ~15ish minutes because her spears don't reliably all hit especially at range. With Barik though it's far from uncommon for me to deal 100k in as little as 12 minutes. Also there's the fact that I deal top damage on my team like every other game with him, but with Inara it's absurdly rare.

@Dusklicious Here is another Inara in one of my son's ranked matches - he is Maeve.. 18 min again.

So this happened. Close loss game (about 25 minutes I think in length), but insane stats on my part...
Could have won if Zhin didn't run guillotine... Would also have helped if one of the supports, just one, went a dps.

@Dusklicious You had a Furia and Io. People who play them are braindead 9/10. I'm one of the few good Furia players who uses Cherish and a good Io player that uses Goddess Blessing.
