I'm happy, because my hate about the ranking and matchmaking is spreading among other players and they realize, it is bad

and btw. - the whole Ranked system is also trash...

which team member had the brilliant idea, to remove the minimum required lvl to pick a champ in ranked???

After a 4 monts break, i returned to Paladins.
Played a few ranked matches and i am already triggered again...

After qualifying i was placed in plat 4 -- ok np
So i queued -> match started -> oh nice, i'm alreday playing against diamonds and masters

So my guess is, even after so many years, hi-rez still doesnt know how a ranking system works
It just doesnt make any sense, that a platin player plays against a diamond/master, even when the "skill rating" or whaterever is the same...
You have to play against others in the same division to compare those people.

But well, just fuck it... this will never ever be changed...
Furthermore this community is probably the worst community of all games... haven't seen anything like this yet...

@DaddyOoker ahahaha, that healing skye legendary is the bigges BS i've ever seen in that game
but lets be honest... there wont be any change, just like for the matchmaking.... they dont care at all as long as they get money...

and in maybe 1-2 years this game will be shut down, because no one will spend money on that $h!7

@KicsitCsicska Yeah, but the problem is, i am gold 2 atm (last season diamond 1) and still getting matched up against diamonds/masters just that the teams are (more or less) equally set up by the matchmaking... only because i've got a high elo...

So basically it's a 50/50 chance of win or loose. But thats just not how a personal ranking system works... Currently you get a team reward, despite how good you played

• This forum is basically dead... only a few threads get new posts every few days....
• Most of the community sucks (toxicity, trolling and just not giving a $4!t about ambitious players in ranked)
• Ranked is not playable in the lower divisions without a full group
• You cant get out of lower divisions if you were a former high div player, because the MM still matches you up against high div players caused by the personal "elo"...
• Not any acknowledgment of reports of bugs, players and game feedback (i mean, we are still complaining about many things, e.g. matchmaking/ranking system, but it seems like no one deals with it... https://forums.hirezstudios.com/paladins/topic/2119 ...mark my words...)

@Lukash369 Yeah i know the process... and i dont impeach that process (it's well thought through), but i'm questioning that ranking system, because that ranking system is for teams and not a player ranking.

Compare it to a multiplayer shooter. Even though you win e.g. a team-deathmatch, you rank up slower when you've got a K/D of 3/20 compared to someone who owned the game with 30/4 despite you've won or lost...

It's basically about the ranking system, but like @lockout92 said, there are a few questionable things about the matchmaking, which could be improved
