Also don't forget that tanks are heavily dependent on a good load-out, and hopefully the tank picks a load-out that is well suited to their strategy or play style.

RE: LOS issues
I think your observations are simply due to Paladins mechanics that we have to live with. Some shots (like Lex's) get a very generous radius with which to hit their moving target, meaning you could be hidden from the center of the cross hair or shot (and possibly out of the line of sight on screen) and still be hit. You'll learn which characters are blessed with these godly radii and move far enough to be truly out of the line of fire. Some of it is also due to animation occurring after the contact calculation is made I think, such as Makoa hitting us with a hook while we're on the move but the chain appearing through a wall to snag us.
Kill cams and play of the game will never really be fixed in my opinion. These have been addressed occasionally since the beginning, and are sometimes briefly fixed, but then quickly break again. I gave up hope on these long ago. There are more pressing and game-breaking bugs to address anyway.

RE: Bots everywhere
@DaddyOoker said in Bots everywhere:
I would like to know how many people would be willing to do this
I wouldn't like it with the current format and game modes, but if a future game mode offered a longer game it could work. TF2 does it, but in that game we can change our character every time we die, so players joining in the middle of the game just pick a character. In those games we're likely to be auto-balanced too, being switched to the other team in the middle of the game, lol.
I would love a clear in-game indicator that a teammate is a bot, though. Something that can appear and disappear on the screen easily, for example if a player disconnects and then reconnects. A color change, asterisk on the name, or something simple. It would help teams cope more quickly.

RE: BURNING
@Zeebuoy I'll defer to you. There was an old nando guide that talked-up caut a bunch (way pre-fireball nerf, when lance caut + anti-healing fireballs were cool). I thought we get life rip from his lingering lance burning because they count as weapon hits (or maybe we don't lol), and weapon hits would convey burn cards.
On another note, I agree that burns could use some focus as a mechanic that's already there and could be enhanced.

RE: BURNING
"Furthermore, Burning is not very impactful vs tank classes"
From a purely damage perspective, yes, but watch out for a Nando with Caut 3. Caut 3 napalm is very scary.

RE: Who chooses these challenges?
Some like these are just really hard, but the problem in my opinion are the many more dumb challenges that require tactics detrimental to the team in-game to complete. So, I stopped caring about BP challenges long ago. IMO, if we are willing to make the whole team suffer so we can complete a BP challenge, then we are not a good teammate.

RE: FPS drops since IO's patch, 60 to 40 or less
FWIW, I get a FPS increase by killing a specific Steam thread called "Steam_TerminateGameConnection" using Sysinternals Process Explorer which, unfortunately, I have to do every time Steam launches. I have no idea what that thread does since it's always busy and killing it doesn't seem to affect anything. If I had to guess, I'd guess Valve is using all our machines to mine crypto currency.

Slash commands
I never used many Slash commands in chat windows but "/stat fps" was nice. I could tell if I had a serious FPS issue BEFORE joining a game so I could go fix it first without impacting other players.
If I try it now on the main screen in the system chat window, it tells me I don't have permission. If I use it in the lobby chat during character selection, the command prints in chat like the slash no longer works.
Other commands include watching replays and exiting the game.
Is this a bug, or are commands now gone?
I know the Paladins engine always supported a ton more commands than we had access to, so maybe this is a logical progression of taking them away.
