@HeartQueen well if we are talking Maeve there's a huge difference in play style between PC and console. Arguably there isn't a meta or viable play style with Maeve on console because you really cant do the flippy air thing the way it needs to be done. Console Maeve is grounded Maeve for the most part. She needs self sustain when you can use the air as cover. Id agree she still is harder to play well with than Victor.

I just see the feature being kind of a pointless novelty. You learn whats what and who's who just by trial and error.

There are console Maeves that can go in the air and hit their shots. They won't be as good as a PC Maeve, but they're still there.

I'm not saying I did the best, but what the absolute fuck was this game?! Imagine going 0-18 as Barik. Imagine going 6-15 as Vora, with a Torvald following you around all game. Like fucking how. I was the only one on my team who killed everyone on the enemy team at least one time. This is actually fucking sad.

@adek183 i don't think it would be accurate given the subjective nature of champion play. I.e. the cards. You can have a brain dead loadout or an Einstein loadout with the same champ.

They mean how accessible a champion is when using their viable and meta loadout. Like Maeve will always be hard to use due to the nature of her kit, aerial movements while shooting a projectile with a unique curve. Though you can make a more beginner friendly loadout. Like a meta Maeve loadout would be either:

      • HP 1
      • Dr on pounce 5
      • Chase 3
      • Predation 4
      • prowl heals 2

      or

      • Hp 5
      • Dr on pounce 4
      • Chase 2
      • Predation 2
      • Prowl heals 2

Depending on if you're going against extreme burst or not.

A beginner Maeve loadout would be something like:

      • hp 2
      • dr on pounce 5
      • prowl heals 4
      • chase 1
      • filler card 3 (nine lives cdr or bonus heals on nine lives)

Notice the differences? A beginner Maeve has a loadout focused more on sustain and self heal. A pro Maeve has more speed plus the card that reduces prowl for shots that you hit. It still doesn't make Maeve easy. You still have to hit daggers while you're in the air and her daggers are still hard to aim. But a loadout can make a champion more accessible to people.

Because her body is there and she's physically there. Kind of like how invis and immune champions can touch point.

Because you can contest when your body touches the point. Evie and Ghrok also can contest in Ice block and Ghost walk, shile they are also immune to damage. Skye and Sha Lin also can while they're sealthed.
      The job is to touch.
And you can use abilities to be safe. Why Fernando can contst while using infinite shield with 3cd? Is it more fair? Champions use different tricks to win the game.

Why Seris' area heal and healer talent have been buffed, while healer Seris was the 80-90% of Seris picks. It's a way better question to ask.

The thing with healer Seris was, it was popular, but it was still losing games. Kind of like Life Link Io vs Goddess Blessing Io. Sure more people use Life Link Io, but it's still garbage compared to Goddess Blessing and Sacrifice. Life Link is her worst talent, even though most people use it. Mortal Reach has abysmal winrates, even at low elo. Like in all elo, Mortal Reach had a 45% win rate while Soul Collector had a 50% winrate. Now before you call 50% garbage, realize that Grover Deep Roots and Cherish Furia have a 52% win rate with similar number of games. Also, Yomi Zhin has similar number of games and has a 51% winrate. At Diamond+ elo in controller ranked lobbies, the average winrate is 53%. Mortal Reach has a 46% winrate and Soul Collector has a 54% winrate.

So for the sake of balance, they did need to buff the heal talent. I don't think Soul Collector needed a severe nerf like they one they gave her though.

So now I'm in the advanced stages of learning Evie. I need to learn to position as her better on certain maps. I feel like I play it way too safe, so I'll go 3-5 or 2-3, but I won't have a lot of impact. I want to analyze gameplay of Evie so I know how to be safe and aggressive at the same time. Wish me luck. Also, I might try out Paladins on my brother's PC since I'm really into Evie, and I feel like I would be a lot happier if I played her on PC.

      I'm a level 31 Evie, just a second ago I got off a match against a team with a level 1 Evie.

      1 killing blow, 6 deaths, 3 assists
      2 killing blows, 8 deaths, 2 assist

Can you tell which is which? I wouldn't be able to either, so let me say this.... PLAYING EVIE IS IMPOSSIBLE (especially on console, if I may say).

Sometimes there will be a match where you get 15 killing blows 1 death and you're instantly hooked on her as a champ, but for each of those is 60 of the first.

Buff her Keep Moving card, put some self-heal in her base kid, and maybe make her ice blasts a bit more explosive in range, make Evie a champion! Because I'm sorry, but right now she's tipping more toward the loser side.

I think she needs Switch Witch 2, teleport 3, flicker reverted, and a heal on soar card. The heal on soar card would pair well with her other talents.

Instead of Over the Moon giving more damage, why not have it reduce the cooldown of soar to 5 seconds, to play off of her mobility? Like, she still needs 3 shots to finish a squishy with Over the Moon anyway, might as well get more mobility out of it. Plus it'll pair well with my proposed heal on soar card.

I agree with Swiftwitch and Increased distance of flicker in base kit. With the Cards effectivness nerfed. Currently Evie Soar is pointless as an escape without the speed buff. The sustain she had before was way over tuned. She could sustain and entire match with no help from a healer popping in and out over 3 seconds. It was just silly.

People always say that a champ was nerfed into the void when ever the go from OP to normal. You got used to playing OP so of course normal feels weak. It just means that you may have to rethink how you are playing the champ. It might also mean that wormhole may not be the end all be all talent any more. Feels like a good thing to me.

Wormhole is actually a requirement still. I think if she gets a heal on soar card and Over the Moon goes back to being about mobility, it might see some more usage.

... And I can pretty much confirm now that I'm not AoC. Didn't expect to win anyways. Also know a few others who I fully expected to make it, didn't either.

I'm surprised Infernal Seris didn't make it tbh. I thought she had a pretty decent following tbh, plus some people advertised her. Though I kind of figured Fishnit wouldn't make it, even though I wanted him to. Fishnit is famous for being a pro player, and most of the community doesn't watch e-sports. It's looking like Syberbolt is making it, which I didn't want to happen tbh because he's a shitter and a flip flopper.

L1bra and Soku haven't said anything at all, so I don't know for the PS4 AoC Rep.

Unfortunatly we had no healer, so I tried to do so...
Never died, most kills, way more damage than anyone else, still 100k+ heal, 53 strikes, annihilation 😁

@TTraw Enjoy your 400 burst until you can 🙂

"We had no healer, so I tried to do so..." (playing Seris) lol. Never change KicsitCsicska. I'll be honest, I usually don't like dps supports, but you're so funny and nice that I would actually let you solo dps support in my games, if we ever do run into each other.
