They aren't really interchangeable.
People use them based on who they play best, but the only real similarities they share is they both have a sniper rifle and they both have an automatic gun. But that's about it.

So..a while ago I played a match in Jaguar Falls.
Nothing out of the ordinary y'know?
I did Io
Thought nothing of the fact that the opposite team had Io and Ying
I got to the capture point.
Let's just say ladies and gentlemen
That if you get Io, Ying, and Barik in Jaguar Falls (which is seige I believe?) it is impossible to take point from them.
Now now now: it may sound rash, yea?
You're coming at the group from either the side or the front (depending on your class) then you notice that Io's Luna is not only deployed, but two of Ying's apparitions AND Barik's turrets.
No big deal yea?
Try killing 5 actual players plus 5 deployables.
It creates a funny (looking back it's funny) scenario of absolutely no way to kill them.
Going from the side doesn't work, they can kill you quickly.
So you go front
Barik has deployed his sheild
So now you have a total of 11 things to shoot.
Good luck hitting a player
Strictly because of that scenario i feel like there should be some kind of limit where if your team has a certain champion, there cannot be other specific Champions
For example: if you team has Kinessa there can't be a Strix and vice versa
Or you can't have Io, Ying, and Barik on a team
It's not something that's hella problematic (so this isn't a serious post)
But something for gamers to think about
New strategy with this map?
Btw the only way to kill those three (plus what ever other two have been chosen) is from behind and uh..even still it's hella difficult
@CMS Considering if evidence is necessary I've given it, you're just seeing what you wish to see.
As for here, he didn't try to help. He acknowledged one tiny part of my question and refused to see any other part.
Same thing happened elsewhere.
I don't have time for people who read a small snippet then respond.
RE: If in TDM players can do team damage, it would be more intense and different from Onslaught
Friendly fire should definitely NOT be on.
It'd make it way too hard for healers to be behind tanks and fire at enemies.
I play Io, a common strategy I do I hide behind a tank and shoot through the tank to deal damage to whoever the tank is killing, that way if the tank starts to get low I can heal them and I can also try to protect their back.
Either way, in TDM friendly fire should absolutely not be on.
It was cause a spike in toxicity and actually make team work harder.
RE: Let's talk about mobility and TTK in paladins
I just wanna mention that aim assist on console isn't really a reliable arguement as aim assist is really bad.
I'm a console players and yea, aim assist helps but it's about 99% actual person and skill and 1% aim assist
I saw you mention aim assist and felt the need to mention how unreliable it is. Not arguing against or for your point, simply the aim asisst .
