I have no idea how Smite does it - so maybe. I never played Smite.
I died once.

I really like the new commendation system. And I really try to get as much as possible - but I don't think the amount of commendations we have to get to get all the rewards is ok.
We need 500 to get the last one - and I personally have about 250 right now. I don't think I'll get to 500 in time...
I could say that you could just lower the amount of commendations we need - but I have a better idea: Make it more enticing for us to GIVE commendations.
We get rewards for having commendations - but do we get something for giving them? No. So why not do that? It doesn't have to be much. Maybe some gold. Or gifts to give to our friends. Or bounty coins. Or maybe even a cosmetic item or crystals - I don't know. But something like that would encourage ppl more, to give commendations to others.
How often did I absolutely rock a match - but didn't get anything? It's kinda frustrating and with that the goal of 500 commendations would be a little more realistic.

To all of you who say 2 heals are meta:
RE: Leaving casual matches
Still the same problem.
After I decided to not play any matches anymore with two or more healers in my team - for this reason - Paladins mutated to an high performance screensaver.
This would all be solved with the simple possibilty to leave casual matches.
Leaving casual matches
I don't know what is going on right now but I'm losing one match after another. My whole history is a red wall of blood, frustration and broken keyboards.
The reason for this is always the same one: Snipers or two or more healer in my team.
I don't know what someone is thinking when he picks a second healer when there is already one - but that's a whole other story.
My point is: Let us leave casual matches. Let us leave them so we can search for another. I already give up the moment I see a second healer or a sniper in my team bc of those bad statistics (yes, I made a statistic about how often I lose with a sniper / more than one healer in my team. And it does NOT look good for both!)
I'm pretty sure noone will agree with me here, but at this point I'm abysmally frustrated. Losing over and over for the same reason is not fun.
Let's talk about bots
Bots. Where do I start? Let's adress the elephant in the room: they suck. They suck very, very hard.
I already talked about them a couple months ago, but there are still many problems with them.
Again: yes. They are not good. And I'm pretty sure they will stay this way until the end of the world. It is indeed not easy to program a skilled AI - so let's stop talk about that.
But since it's not possible to win a match with even one single bot in your team, we have to do something about this. I mean seriously. I did the math. I counted every single match where I had a bot in my team and the wins and losses. Within six months I got 4 wins - out of a total of 156 matches. That's not very much.
So here is my suggestion:
Make it possible for us to simply leave a match when someone is a bot. At least in casual. Like in training matches. Return to lobby so we can search for another match. But ripping our a**es off and trying to win - which again: won't happen - is just a huge waste of time and very frustrating.
Or just give us the vote-for-surrender-function I'm screaming for since day one.
Lags, no jumping, not hitting anyone
Like the title says: Since yesterday I experience some major lags.
Sometimes I can't jump - my character just wobbles and glides around. Some button inputs don't work right off and - despite the fact I clearly hit them - enemies don't take damage. On the other hand, I die when someone shoots from behind a wall.
On top of that I sometimes have a ping of 1. I can't believe that to be true.
Does anyone here have the same problems? Is it because of the quarantine? Are the servers just overwhelmed?
