@Nico I strongly disagree. While I can understand the appeal behind limited skins I feel that the drawbacks heavily outweigh the pros.
I personally would even go so far as to ask that no new skins be made as limited skins. While it is prestigious for the players that got the skin at the time it is heartbreaking for new or returning players. A couple weeks back I had a conversation with a drogoz main that was incredibly sad that he could not get the abyssal lord drogoz skin that I used.
While this is the best case scenario I could hope for my actual opinion is even stronger: I would love for all limited skins to become unlimited, since I really dislike the concept of limited skins.
And before someone says "Oh you just want to be able to get some rad skins you weren't there for in time" I own almost every limited skin up to the remix battlepass including some highly sought after ones like the aforementioned abyssal lord drogoz.
But I understand that skins cannot change their rarity, so this will forever remain a dream.
In conclusion, while they are prestigious and a nice reward for loyal customer, limited skins have the drawback of punishing new players for being unaware of the game sooner and returning players for taking a break/having other stuff going on etc. preventing these parties from spending further money on the game.
