Update: trying to start Paladins, it always crashes because D3D11 is active in the game settings. The fact is that directX is already up to date.

1. Previously I had tried to update the graphics card from the manufacturer's website with their application but in the installation of the update it gave me an error saying that the driver I had on the PC had particular changes and that it was not a generic driver.

3. When there is no "force -d3d9" code, the game starts only when the D3D11 is deactivated.

Then I solved the problem by starting the game by typing "force-d3d9". I changed the settings of the DX11 by putting it off. Starting it normally works (without writing "force-d3d9"); so now I understand that the problem is the D3D11, do you know how I can fix it?

@jhaglund it is already disabled and if I try to enable it it doesn't work the same. They advised me to do a clean boot of Windows but the same causes me that problem.

I checked the version of Steam and it's the latest.

@Vaporized My computer is a laptop that I purchased on December 2019. It has nothing amd, it's all intel.

About the game, sometimes it manages to start but after a while it freezes without giving me a stop and to close it I have to turn off the PC. Now I try to change DX.
(When it freezes, only a few times it manages to unlock and afterwards the same thing happens again as before)

I noticed another fact: steam only starts if I start it with administrator permissions.

Small update: after a reboot it worked. Closing the game and reopening it after a while gives me the same problem. (with further reboots it doesn't work the same)

I'm sorry I said badly. By "error" I mean the fact that the game keeps crashing and then the Crash Dialog opens.

I hadn't played in Paladins for a long time and last night I decided to play it. After making a small update of Paladins itself from Steam, I started the game but it continues to crash after the presence of the full screen with "Hi-rez" written on it. I tried to check the files and everything went well; I reinstalled steam and Paladins but it keeps giving me the same error. By chance would you know how to help me? Thank you. (Sorry for the English, I hope it is correct)
